CBT zoo and rescue
Welcome to our website

CBT is an small animal rescue/shelter organization, which also provides programs with animals through a meet up close and/or touch experience. CBT takes in small animals that have been abandoned or released by their owners. These animals are used in our education programs and most are found new forever homes through our adoption program. Not all animals are adoptable, and those will remain with us the rest of their lives. CBT relies on donations, program fees and adoption dollars to feed, house and provide medical care for the animals.

OUR MISSION

EDUCATION leads to Respect, Kindness, and Adoption
We have resumed adoptions:
Our regular business hours for 2021 are Wednesday through Sunday, 11:00 am to 6:30 pm. All meetings for adoption are by appointment at the Dearborn, MO facility or at our adoption events, and we work around our special events.
Any inquiries, email, call, or text, after these times will be handled on our next business day.
Sometimes we have to stop taking in released animals due to a lack of space. As animals are adopted, we can make room for others, so sometimes there is a waiting period. Please understand that we have regulations to follow.
But we will not pick up at this time. You must be willing to drop off in Dearborn, MO- BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. OR text us (816-377-5472) and let us know ahead of time and you can drop off at an adoption event.
THANK YOU FOR UNDERSTANDING.
Masks are optional at our Dearborn facility.
Masks are required at our adoption events.
