About Us
CBT is a small animal rescue organization, founded in July 2010. We also provide programs to meet animals up close. CBT takes in small animals that have been abandoned or released by their owners. These animals are used in our education programs. Many animals have found forever homes through our adoption program. Not all animals are adoptable, and those will remain with us the rest of their lives, hence the "zoo" in our name. Those animals become ambassadors for our cause! CBT relies on donations, program fees, and adoption dollars to provide care for our animals.

Meetings for adoption are by appointment at a place agreed upon by both parties or at our adoption events. No appointments on Mondays. The rescue is not open to the public at this time, as stated by appointment only.

December 23rd to 27th
These dates are subject to change without notice.
If you drop off at the shelter in Dearborn (by appointment), or at a scheduled event, there will be no charge.
For safety and insurance reasons, we do not allow anyone on the property without a staff member in attendance.
